Product Description
These gloves combine industrial-grade flex sensors (measuring two joints per finger) with high-performance inertial measurement units (IMUs) to give 11 degrees of freedom per finger. This setup allows for detailed finger spread, fine motor control, and overstretch tracking—while automatic filters reduce IMU drift and maintain fidelity in live performance capture.
Swappable Batteries & Workflow Efficiency
Designed for extended sessions, the Prime II gloves come with interchangeable batteries, giving about 5 hours of continuous motion capture. You can swap batteries mid-session without needing to recalibrate, minimizing downtime.
Calibration & Integration
Get started quickly: a 45-second calibration (three simple gestures) tunes the gloves to the individual user. The gloves also support multi-user calibration, allowing multiple performers to calibrate in group sessions efficiently. For compatibility, the gloves work directly with Xsens MVN / MVN Animate, Unity, Unreal, MotionBuilder, etc.
Comfort, Durability & Hygiene
-
The glove textile (≈ 77% polyester, 23% spandex) is washable; sensors / electronics are removable so the textile can be washed or replaced. Storyblok+1

Tracking
To achieve positional tracking of the Manus Gloves, Manus relies on the tracking solutions of other 3rd party systems, such as Xsens and VIVE Tracking. Any tracking solution that gives the location of the hand can be used to provide positional tracking. The Manus glove is tested with OptiTrack, Vicon, Xsens, PhaseSpace and SteamVR tracking.
Hand Mount
The Manus Hand Mount allows for the HTC VIVE Tracker to be mounted to the back of the hand for accurate positional tracking with the SteamVR Tracking system.
